Crisis on Infinite Earths #11: Pt. 93
Previously in Crisis on Infinite Earths #11…
Only one Earth exists, one which combines parts of all others which came before.
The heroes continue to discuss the new status quo at Titans Tower…
Fury, the daughter of Earth-2’s Wonder Woman still exists, as does Wonder Girl, the adopted sister of Earth-1’s Wonder Woman. However, it is Earth-1 Wonder Woman’s mother who exists as Queen Hippolyta.
Power Girl wonders why she is remembered, but not her Earth’s Superman.
Eventually, they come to a realization, one that is put in words by Batman…
Further, as Beast Boy concludes that only the guys who fought “Monny” at the dawn of time remember “the confusin’ good ol’ days!”
Suddenly, a giant electrical storm “sweeps across the world with impossible speed.” In Gorilla City, Sam Simeon and Bobo don’t know how Solivar was injured. In Peru, the Challengers of the Unknown and Cave Carson witness pure energy. At Titans Tower, Pariah feels “the tug of evil,” but does not disappear, and “the anti-matter effect” takes over Alexander Luthor’s body.
Above the Earth, in the scarlet skies, the universe seems to open. The yawning maw stares hungrily at the blue-gray glove which floats before it. The Earth shakes and protests and fights and screams… desperately trying to hold on to its space, to lay claim to its orbit…
But it fails. Suddenly, it is gone, swallowed whole, a cosmic Jonah lost to some inter-universal whale.
From their spot in space, the Supermen of two worlds witness…
This is it, folks… the stage is set for the final battle of good vs. evil, heroes vs. the ultimate villain, positive matter vs. anti-matter… Return next Wednesday to see who wins…
