Batman then tells Robin, “You have every right to be afraid, but if there’s any way I can, I’ll protect you. And if I can’t, I’ll be with you right up to the end. You know that, don’t you?”

Later, in the Batcave (p. 10), the JLA channel beeps and Robin gets a report from Martian Manhunter, Elongated Man, and Zatanna…

In Crisis-related news, the latest earthquake causes the cliff supporting the observatory to be separated, isolating and stranding Nocturna.
