Before he... died, the Monitor said you had a destiny to fulfill. Trust him, Alex Luthor. Trust him!

The issue ends with someone again observing the injured Ted Grant lying on what could be his deathbed. The final page reveals that it is Yolanda Monte in costume as the new Wildcat!
