Crisis on Infinite Earths #9: Pt. 84

Superman is everywhere during the Crisis! In the pages of DC Comics Presents #88, he learns that it has pulled the planets from their “appointed orbits…”

The Crisis! It came upon the solar system so gradually that no one predicted it – and so inexorably that no one can evade it! Not Superman – and not any of the citizens of Boston who stand staring at the moving moon with a notable lack of Brahmin reserve. Young and old, rich and poor, black and white, and yellow and brown, these people are all afraid…

After putting the Moon back in place, Superman’s alter ego, Clark Kent, is approached on Earth by three television network presidents. They want Kent to talk with Jack Ryder about his panic-inducing type of journalism…

In their “heroic” forms, Superman and the Creeper join forces to defeat a demon brought to life through the psychic conduit of Ryder’s viewers.
