In the adjacent panel, though, “…there is another who now observes the actions of Earth’s mightiest hero… one who will certainly not interfere… not yet!” Yes, it’s Monitor, doing what he does best. Lyla asks him, “What do you think, Monitor? The Kryptonian looks like he’s in trouble.”
