At the Pentagon, Etta Candy and Howard Huckaby (who believes Etta is Wonder Woman) accidentally release Cheetah. Meanwhile, Silver Swan asks Monitor to help her locate Captain Wonder. This confuses Lyla (and us) because Captain Wonder is an alter-ego of Doctor Psycho. Follow?

Monitor sends Angleman to the Pentagon, where he knows the others are fighting. He seems to have gone against his policy of meddling in the affairs of those he observes.

In the letters column, Wonder Words, editor Alan Gold takes an opportunity to plug Crisis on Infinite Earths while explaining the background for the issue's story:
